MAdoors manual flood defence barrier stap stackable push-in barrier

The technology used with the madoors manual flood protection stap barrier is based on that of the simple madoors barrier. In the event of an emergency, the barriers are arranged according to the order of the wall fixing elements, and pushed into the two supporting brackets. Activation of the fast-acting clamps places horizontal and vertical pressure on the seal and locking mechanism of the body of the barrier.

All Madoors Manual Flood Barriers are purpose-designed, engineered and manufactured by Madoors Water Control Solutions. MAdoors’s design team provide full support to project partners, ensuring the product delivered will be engineered and certified to withstand worse case scenarios for expected flood water height, debris loading, deployment times etc. Design considerations include the condition of the nominated site, with options for greenfield and brownfield sites.

Maintenance

The Madoors Manual Flood Barrier range has a minimum 25 year design life. Minimal maintenance is required ensuring low ‘whole of life costs’.
